It began with listening
medology did not start in a lab. It started in a consulting room — in the same conversations, over and over, with more than 1,500 people worried about their hair across three years. What we heard was not "what should I take?" but "I’ve tried so many things, I don’t know what works", "too many pills, I keep forgetting", and "nobody tells me when I should see a doctor".
So we set three rules before making anything. One — every ingredient must have a reason; nothing goes in because it sounds good. Two — it has to be small enough to do every day: one capsule, one pen. Three — we must be willing to say when what you need is a doctor, not another bottle.
The name comes from medicine and -logy, the study of medicine — but we read it another way: the practice of care that is understood, checked against evidence, and made simple enough to become a habit.

The Ensō
A circle drawn in a single brushstroke — imperfect, and not needing to be perfect. It stands for beginning again each day, and for the hair cycle that never stops turning. We use it as the "o" in our name, and as the face of Hari, our AI helper.
Who is behind it
A team of hair and scalp specialists, researchers and pharmacists, working with a GHPs/HACCP-certified manufacturer in Thailand. We chose not to sell on doctors’ names, because we would rather you trust the evidence than a title.
